Tru-Chokes were designed to be retrofitted into shotgun barrels that did not come from the factory with screw in tubes.
Tru-Chokes are made from heat treaded stainless steel. They are smaller than standard tubes and use a special tread. If your shotgun in not set up for that style of tube, installation will have to be performed by a gunsmith. No external alteration is made to install TRU-CHOKES in your barrel.

Theses chokes are extended, knurled, and have a black oxide finish. They will normally pattern better than flush mount chokes due to less shot deformation. They are manufactured for high strength 17-4 PH stainless steel. All Precision Hunter chokes are marked on the head with the degree of choke and on the body with the bore diameter. This style is an excellent choice for the shooter who wants one choke for both field and range shooting.
