Built from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum billets, the Cadex Field Tactical provides a rigid chassis platform for a right-handed Remington 700 Short Action. Its fixed skeleton stock allows tool-free adjustment of length of pull, cheekpiece height and recoil pad height, while a neoprene cheek pad adds contact comfort. The full-length top rail incorporates 20 MOA of inclination, and the small-contour fore-end provides accessory rail positions at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. An aluminum detachable base allows access to the trigger for maintenance or adjustment without removing the action from the chassis. The system is compatible with AICS magazines and incorporates oversized trigger guard and magazine-release controls for easier operation with gloves. Roller bedding supports the barreled action on four rollers, and the barrel channel accepts a maximum barrel diameter of 1.350 in.
