The L.E. Wilson Expanding Mandrel Only 6 mm (.242″) features a die body with a cut-out for visual alignment and ships with one mandrel sized for 6 mm (≈ 0.242″). It is engineered for new (unused) brass cases that may be slightly damaged or have inconsistent neck geometry; by expanding the neck uniformly you can achieve more consistent neck tension and therefore improved seating depth and accuracy. The tool uses stainless-steel components and standard 7/8-14 press mounting.
