The Magpul MOE SL Hand Guard Carbine Length AR15 M4 is designed as a direct replacement for standard two-piece plastic handguards on AR15 and M4 platforms with carbine-length gas systems and A2 front sight assemblies. Constructed from reinforced, heat-resistant polymer, it provides durability without the added weight of aluminum rail systems. Its slim profile, approximately 1.8" (4.6 cm) wide, reduces bulk and improves weapon control, while integrated M-LOK slots at the 2, 6, and 10 o’clock positions allow the attachment of accessories such as lights, grips, and rail sections. An internal riveted aluminum heat shield protects the support hand from heat generated during firing, and the extended front lip helps shield from the gas block area. Installation is simple using the existing delta ring and round front handguard cap, making it an efficient upgrade for shooters seeking improved ergonomics and modularity.
