OXA SpikePod Hunter Shooting Stabilizer

The OXA SpikePod Hunter Shooting Stabilizer provides a compact alternative to carrying a separate shooting rest by allowing the shooter to use available surfaces directly as support points. It mounts primarily to a standard underside sling swivel stud with a maximum diameter of 0.4" (10 mm) and is designed for firearms with a stock width of up to 1.8" (45 mm) at the intended installation point. The hard-anodized aluminum body and hard-anodized 7075-T6 aluminum spikes provide a rigid construction while keeping total weight to only 2.9 oz (81 g). Its two spikes operate independently and can be deployed against vertical, angled or horizontal surfaces such as trees, stumps, logs, hunting blinds, shooting stands and other solid structures. The stabilizer can be used from either side of the firearm and from standing, kneeling, sitting or prone positions, allowing the shooter to adapt the support to changing field conditions. Deployment can be performed with one hand, and the compact unit remains attached during normal carrying and handling. An integrated sling attachment point maintains carrying-sling functionality. With the appropriate adapters, the SpikePod can also be installed on selected M-LOK, ARCA, UIT/Anschütz, Picatinny and QD sling socket interfaces and can serve as a mounting platform for selected compatible accessories and additional support systems.
