The RWS Felt Cleaning pellets are made for basic barrel maintenance on compatible .177 caliber pellet rifles. The RWS Felt Cleaning .177 Pellets 100/Pack helps remove excess protective oil that may be present in the barrel of a new air rifle before initial target shooting. These felt cleaning pellets should not be used in air rifles with permanently attached SilencAir Technology noise reducers. Because felt cleaning pellets are very light, they should not be fired through spring or gas piston airguns; for those platforms, a rod should be used to push the pellet through the barrel. In 1000 fps air rifles, no fewer than three cleaning pellets should be used at one time.
