The 15 ft (4.6 m) cable length provides practical routing distance for common boat layouts, whether the electronics are mounted near the console, bow or accessory switch location. For setups using HELIX networking products, the AS EC QDE adapter is required, while XPLORE, APEX, SOLIX and ONIX models do not require that adapter.
